I may not be the perfect person to critique an abstract painting, I feel like a lot of it is a matter of opinion, but I'm going to make an attempt anyway!

This painting is quite appealing. I like the roughness, both the yellow streak and the splatter of red at he top really make the painting for me. They demand the attention of the viewer right away. I love how those two details appear uncontrolled and passionate. The paper folds are also something I like they give a nice touch to the completed look.

I do think it looks a bit messy at some points, too many colours mixed together at spaces where I would expect some sort of peace to contrast the wildness of the other colours. The colour contrast would have been more powerful were there less colours mixed together, the tint of red in the white in my eyes is unneccersary. But I do think it's great how you've made the yellow details from the left upper corner go down to the right down corner, it leads the eyes across the painting following the yellow. I like that! But perhaps it's effect would have been greater had there been no yellow in the middle and right upper side of the painting.

I also like the play of blue in the painting! I'm not sure about using two different hues of blue, I feel like the Azure blue would have stand well on it's own. But I'm no expert and I think you did a good job on the painting.

It's fun, there's lots of movement which makes it a pleasure to look at!

Keep this up!!

And I hope my crtitiq was atleast a little helpful.
